‘Nuts, Essentially’

Been pretty busy working on various writing projects, but here’s a link to a story I put up on Reedsy Prompts entitled, ‘Nuts, Essentially.’ I wrote it about the time when the pandemic and shut-downs first started here in the US. The prompt was to write a story about “someone who is working from home and constantly getting distracted by their pet.” I was feeling particularly inspired by the increasingly emboldened squirrels that were gathering near my apartment , as well as the new, and now normalized world of telecommuting to work.
